Shipping Methods
Generally, the following shipping methods are available:

48 continental US states standard. Will optimize carrier:
Normally arrive within 3-8 full business days. The reason we say we will optimize carrier is that in some case we may use priority mail or other expedited methods if we believe they will arrive faster than other methods without incurring significantly higher shipping cost. This shipping method also applies to freight delivery for heavy weight or oversized items.

Ground:
Normally arrive within 3-8 full business days. Standard UPS residential ground.

Hawaii/Alaska/Canada.
3-10 business days. UPS ground/USPS priority/air parcel whichever faster.
Because the difficulty of obtain a precise shipping quote until you place an order, the shipping quote is an average. If the final delivery cost does not deviate beyond 10% from the estimate, you will be charged the estimated quote. If it is far beyond, we will contact you to obtain your authorization before making final shipment.

Freight Delivery: Overweight or oversize items.
Normally 7-14 full business days. Some heavy or oddly shaped items must be shipped alone via freight trucking companies. Usually, oversize items arrive in 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Most oversize Items leave the warehouse within seven full business days. Due to the difficulty of obtaining a precise shipping quote until you place an order, the shipping estimate for freight delivery is an average. If the final delivery cost does not deviate beyond 10% from the estimate, you will be charged the estimated quote. If it is far beyond, we will contact you to obtain your authorization before making final shipment. Although we do not list this shipping option in check out, it usually falls into the category of "48 continental US states standard. Will optimize carrier." and you may choose that. Oversize/overweight items can only be sent via ground freight, and we do not offer expedited shipping.

In general, most residential addresses do not have a loading dock. Some oversize or overweight items may require lift gate services (with extra charge) to unload if the delivery address does not have an accessible loading dock. The customer is responsible for bringing the items into their home or garage. The trucking company will deliver during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.

Other International, or U.S. Territories, including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
4-21 business days. Available carriers only. Delivery to a certain region overseas may not be available. Although we reserve our right to cancel an order in case delivery is impossible, we will notify you promptly so you do not have to worry about uncertainty.

Attention International Buyers:
Any fee associated with customs, duties, tariff, or brokerage, if demanded by any carrier, during the course of import entry into the destination country is to be paid by the recipient of goods but not the shipper.

Expedited Shipping:
In general, we do not recommend that you use expedited shipping methods because it can be quite expensive to you and in most cases only saves you few days. However, you do have an option to request expedited shipping specifically. If you have a certain deadline for delivery, please email shipping@officeship.com and we will try our best to accommodate your request at actual additional cost. Although in most cases we will do it for you, we cannot guarantee that such request can be met in every case.

Exceptions:
The above delivery time is only an estimate which is not guaranteed. We are not in a position to guarantee delivery time, nor do we have control of it in certain circumstances. In an exception, delay may occur due to factors out of our control, such as back order from manufacturers, shipping carrier delay or delivery failure. Such delay shall not hold us liable for any consequence. As a business, however, we understand the importance of prompt delivery and would strive to do our best. Please find more details here.

Conventional Wisdom on Shipping
Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Shipping costs are based on the weight of the total order. An order containing multiple items typically receives a volume-shipping discount and therefore your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual ship charges appearing in your cart. You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during Checkout.

Product Warranty

Most items sold by OfficeShip.com with standard manufacturer warranty. For additional information on the manufacturer's warranty for a specific product, contact the manufacturer directly.

Return and Exchange

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return or exchange the item within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping and handling cost . In some cases, there is no restocking fee. In other cases, depending on the policy of a particular manufacturer, return is subject to a restocking fee of 15- 25%. Usually, if our vendor charges it, we will have to pass it through. If our vendor waives it, we will follow and waive a restocking fee as well. Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy, where roundtrip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

The item must be returned in new and resalable condition with all paperwork, parts and accessories and in original boxes only, to insure proper credit.

All customers need to contact us by email at support@OfficeShip.com first to obtain a return authorization. This is because return address can vary with different products and instruction needs to be followed to provide correct documentation for proper refund. If a return is done without any authorization or at least some communication, we reserve our right to refuse it or send it back to the sender at the sender's expense. In most cases, our experiences told us some return request are a result of simple misunderstanding and can be resolved without physically shipping an item back and forth. This is usually mutually beneficial to both a customer and our store, and many times in a customer's favor, when a request is reasonable.

Return Exceptions

Our Standard Return policies do not apply to all items. Exceptions to our Standard Return policies and instructions on how to return these particular items appear below.

Food items
Food items are non-returnable.

Racket Stringing and Labor
If a racket is strung with customer specifications of string type and tension, when the racket is returned, the racket reimbursement will follow the general return and exchange policy, but the cost of string and stringing labor cost cannot be reimbursed, since they cannot be recovered.

Lingerie, swim suits, underwear, and nightgowns
No return is allowed for lingerie, swim suits, underwear, nightgowns, or any other similar products due to hygiene concern. We are not allowed to resell such a product when returned and it will become a complete loss for us.

Perishable Items/Customized / Personalized Products and Autographed Collectibles
All sales are final for these items when a purchase order is placed. A custom order or, in other words, a made-to-order by a customer cannot be cancelled once placed. These items cannot be returned. The delivery time estimate is not a guarantee due to the nature of custom production. A cancellation request, however, may be considered if substantial delay has occurred and if a custom production has not yet begun. When you place a custom order, please plan ahead to leave more time for production and delivery, because a rush order that does not allow any margin for error could make a deadline difficult to meet. Once production has begun, substantial expenses by the vendor would have already incurred and a cancellation "at will" or due to "buyer remorse" by a customer could render sigificant losses to the vendor who has invested in the custom production process. It is the vendor's responsibility, on the other hand, to keep a customer informed if substantial delay in production can be foreseen and to make every effort to deliver in a timely manner. Baseball and Softball Bats and Balls
If a product is defective yet under standard manufacturer warranty, any quality issue on a bat must be handled directly by the manufacturer. Most baseball and softball bats and balls are non-returnable, used or unused. This has been the standard procedure in this industry. Occasionally, unopened bat in original packaging may be returned, only with a formal return authorization issued by us, subject to standard restocking fee. Because each manufacturer has different policies, this has to be handled case by case.

Software and Electronic Media Products
The products below are software and electronic media products:

  • Computer Games
  • Software
  • VHS Tapes
    Absolutely no return on opened items of the above. We are strong allies with publishers of these products to protect intellectual rights and to prevent piracy. Unopened item return of the above needs to be handled case by case.

    High Value Sophisticated Instrument
    Most high value and sophisticated instrument needs to go through rigorous testing and pass a certain quality assurance before being put up for sale. Some even requires special packaging. Standard return policy can still apply on these if the package is unopened and original. Open items cannot be returned unless we make a mistake in shipping. As a vendor, we are not capable of performing those testing that can only be performed by the manufacturer. Although we usually do not process return on these, please have peace in mind that most of these instrument are covered by standard manufacturer warranty. We stand behind our sale as an authorized dealer. We only work with manufacturers with excellent track record in handing product warranty and return services. In addition, we will also give you full supports whenever you need additional proof of documentation, receipt, or other transaction record, even when you lose it. We will also provide you with advice and all contact information necessary to facilitate your warranty claim.

    Damaged, Defective Items, or Shipment in Error or Shortage.
    If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact support@OfficeShip.com within 7 days of delivery. Please supply us with your order number, item number and tracking number from your original confirmation e-mail. We will also need your e-mail address and phone number. We will make every reasonable effort to replace the item in a timely manner. We cover all shipping charges and replacement costs if any damage is at our fault.

    Returning an Oversized Item
    We cover shipping charges on returned Oversized Items only if the item arrives at the designated shipping address defective or damaged. We do not cover shipping charges on Oversized Items that are returned due to "buyer remorse." Please note: shipping charges can be expensive for Oversized Items.
  • Contact a Customer Service Specialist to receive instructions on arranging for a freight delivery company to pick-up your item(s). Please have your order number available when you call.
  • You must be home at the time of pick-up and the item(s) must be at the door for the freight driver.
  • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 business days of our receiving the item(s). You will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or our error.
    *Please note: If there is extensive damage to an item upon delivery, please call 781-583-7548 immediately.

    Parts and Repairs
    Please contact the manufacturer of an item directly with any parts and repairs questions.
